The Jaguar

wildlifepark3_jaguar There are many predatory cats in Wildlife Park 3. Today, we introduce you to the jaguar (Latin: Panthera Onca): The American jaguar is similar to the African leopard, but with a more compact and stronger body. It prefers swamps or damp forest areas. Being a solitary animal, it mostly uses the darkness to hunt. Its beautiful fur is very sought-after which puts the population to some extend in danger through poachers.

The African Elephant

wildlifepark3_elefant The “Animal of the Week” of Wildlife Park3 is the African elephant (Latin: Loxodonta africana).

The largest of the elephant family lives in deserts as well as in rain forests. Their larger ears distinguish them from the Indian elephant. Despite being “pachyderms”, these giants are sensitive to the touch. Their trunk is very mobile and can be used very flexibly to pick up objects due to its formability and the almost finger-like tip. The large ears contain a network of blood vessels which release heat. This is how the animal protects itself from overheating in the African savanna. The population is endangered.

Wildlife Park 3 has reached the gold master stage!

The virtual wildlife park will be opening its gates punctually on March 25, 2011

wildlife-park-3_20110304 Eschborn, March 4, 2011: Now that it has achieved gold master status, the German version of Wildlife Park 3 is on the home stretch to the scheduled release date of March 25, 2011. The third part of this successful series will again offer the popular combination of realistic animal simulation, business management and building strategy. Wildlife Park 3 will be released on Windows PC priced 39.99€ (RRP).

In Wildlife Camp 3 the player becomes a modern animal park manager. In Campaign mode, 20 missions take him around the globe and set him a range of exciting and varied challenges. The player’s imagination can run riot in the ever popular “free game” mode: the virtual wildlife park manager has over 30 plant species, a range of visitor facilities, numerous building options for enclosures and many more elements available to design and build his own park. Of course he must also consider the needs of the 25 different animal species and must hire and train animal keepers to look after the animals and their offspring. Randomly generated quests also provide variety; nor should the “cute factor” be ignored in Wildlife Park 3 either!

A number of innovations have made Wildlife Park 3 the most successful and thrilling part of the series to date, as the management part of the game has been substantially upgraded compared to its predecessor, and the numerous park facilities and enclosure types can now be individually designed. The behavior and movements of the various animal species have been faithfully reproduced and of course the popular animal lexicon has been retained, which, besides the animal species, also contains lots of background information on plant species. A new weather system affects animals, plants and visitors alike: animals run for shelter in a downpour, plants wither if it is too dry, and visitors can quickly buy an umbrella in the park shop if it starts raining. An improved clothing system provides a vast selection of different dress styles for the NPCs, each of whom will have different requirements that must be satisfied.

Wildlife in Your Living Room!

wildlifepark3_screenshot_13 It won’t be long now! The new zoo simulation, Wildlife Park 3, will be opening its gates on March 25. The campaign in Wildlife Park 3 will take you on missions around the globe in an exciting story. You will return animals to the wild and save endangered species. As the Zoo Director in the free game you can build your very own animal park: you will have 30 different animated plant species, a range of visitor facilities and a wide variety of options available to design the pens and enclosures. Choose from over 20 maps of parks from all over the world, and use the terraforming tool to create a landscape that springs from your imagination. However, you must also consider the needs of the different and realistically animated wild animals; penguins and polar bears like water and a cool climate, but rhinos, giant pandas and gorillas thrive in very different conditions. If the animals in your charge are completely happy and healthy, the visitors to your zoo will soon be marveling at their cute offspring!
